Welcome to the site. Have you been able to read through the book yet? That would be the very most important first step for you. It is SO full of information and motivation, you won't be able to absorb it all the first time through, but it will give you the REI base for being able to come into the forums and ask questions and learn from all the ones that have already been asked in here. You'll want to read the book again and again, but start with that and then go to this link (it's also under the first section at the top left of your screen)
