My name is Dennis Jeter. I am 46 years old married with 2 children. I am originally from New York City and have been living in South Carolina for the past 14 years. Though I am a sales manager in the furniture business, I am truly not satisfied. In 2009, I was layed of and remained so for about a year. I started a mens aparel business online to supplement my unemployment but things were still somewhat tight financially. One night I saw DG during an infomercial and something about him caught my attention. It wasn't what he was saying about real estate It was HIM!! I said to myself this guy is the real deal. I felt a humility about him that was rare among infomercial guru's I had heard in the past. I listened to him intently and I discerned that he was genuinely sincere about helping people and not out to simply sell his books. I purchased both books and was totally blown away. I then made the mistake of getting cold feet and once I started working again I shelved the books and simply went back to work. That was a year ago. I now realize that was a mistake because where I live right now has become hot-bed of potential wealth. I am now back in the game and going at it full force.
Where to start
I am a newbie still in diapers. I purchased DG books two years ago and got cold feet! I always believed in DG. believing in myself was the problem. I purchased the books while I was layed off, but when I went back to work, I went back to my same way of thinking. What sparked this again is the gold mind of real estate in my community. I live a growing downtown area in Greenville SC. There was talk two years ago about this area exploding with new real estate. But like I said I sat on it. Now that we are in this down market homes are selling for dirt cheap and Iv'e got to get in the game. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
