Do any of you know from your dealings whether the fee you earn from an IEE ever gets recorded on the closing document executed between the seller and the new buyer, after you have already backed out of the purchase/option contract?
This amount is basically the 'discharge fee' (your fee for terminating the purchase/option contract with the seller). It is essentially the 'equity' in the home you have found that is paid to you out of the escrow funds at the time of closing between the original homeowner (seller) and the new buyer.
The form I speak of is the RESPA /HUD-1 form.
If it appears on the RESPA/HUD-1 form, on what line# should it be entered??
