Hi Greg. Thank you for reaching out. That is very nice. We had a lead on a house. A 3,000 sf home, tax value @ $225,000, blt 2004. We looked it up on county tax records. Last sold for around $190,000. All taxes have been pd. We believe, and are trying to confirm, the real estate broker/agent, that it is with, has handed it over back to the bank. According to my friend, who lives next door, this house has been vacant for several months. Two story, in nice neighborhood. Once we find out if it's gone back to the bank, we can then determine how much owed? Then do the .7 formula Dean talks about for the offer? But we need to slow down. We don't even have a buyers list yet. So should we Not Even think about this or try and hold the property under contract depending on where it's at and then find a buyer????? Thanks for advice.
