The realtor is technically right.....
However what he doesn't tell you because he is not on the investing side of this business is,
If you have a purchase agreement and you put in this purchase agreement you have a right to market this property
Or you have this property under a property agreement with the seller then you should by all means market that property.

Is the real estate agent an attorney? No ! So he can not speak on the law. His ability to guide you is bounded by his broker, his school teaching and lastly how much actual transactional experience he has .....
