Tips on wholesaling in a VERY competitive market?!?

Hello Ive come to understand the concept of wholesaling. Ive gone through Deans material and Edge 2012 Replay.Ive planned out what I must do. I am starting off with my RE investment experience Smiling........Now I have a question that im stuck on. Will wholesaling work well in my city?
I live in Houston, TX. The market here is getting very competitive. Bid wars have picked up. Houston property have been bought sometimes ABOVE asking price.Foreclosures have been drying up. The locals think there might be a bubble in the near future. I know I can still wholesale. But I just need tips!! Maybe from someone who is wholesaling in a similar market!

Thanks DG Family in advance!!

Wholesaling will really really work in any market

Hi Chris,
I'm excited for your future as an investor! So great to see you starting at your age! Listen, wholesaling works everywhere. Have you read 30 Days to Real Estate Cash. You can get it free on this site. Just implement every step the book lays out and you will be on your way to doing deals. Markets are competitive all around the country. You make 25 offers on properties that are vacant, need work and been on the market longer than usual/or had price reduction and one will get accepted. Be sure to also be putting out bandit signs and craigs list ads, etc to find off market deals. Let us know how you do. Now - go make offers!!

Thamk you steinway024

Thanks soo much for the tip. Its encouraging. I am currently going through the material. Ill start putting in offers as soon as possible!
