This is my first blog to be posted up.
I am going to keep it simple, I have been on here for about almost 2 months now. I am reasearching this field and learning alot. I have also taken the initiative to network with some pretty amazing people so far. In terms of speaking with some people on here, I have come across some great people such as: Sandiboots (who I also am working with and is my mentor-she ROCKS!!!!!!!), An investor named Steven-I don't know his SN yet...I will find out..lol; but he's pretty cool too, Kareng-she is awesome in terms of speaking with on here...I have asked her a couple of questions and she had no problem explaining the answers!, Reinvestor42-he is awesome as well in terms of giving advice! There are so many people on here that don't mind speaking to you on here...you just have to come across the right ones!
With that said, I am going to be working on building my buyers list and sellers list by placing my first ads up this monday!!!!!!! Then as I continue to read and study the materials I have, I will also work on the next step...whatever it is!!!!!!! I don't know the next step yet, but I am playing it by ear and will make sure I find it out this weekend!!!!!!! lol...I don't want to make a mistake, but I have to get some experience...so wish me luck all!!!!!!! And I look forward to being able to say that I was able to either birddog something or assign something soon! Too excited!!!!!!! As this will be the stepping stone to me being able to acquire rental properties soon! I truly would love to have just one rental property to start with...and that will be a BIG achievement!!!!!!!

So it’s been 4 days…
And it's been fun, exciting and sometimes trying. But I will keep moving forward!
So, I am not only at the research and education point..but I am also, heading out and trying to take action and make something happen! With that said, I am posting ads and just trying to network and put myself out there! It's going to be difficult, because my lack of transportation has limited me, but I can't wait until Jan! My hubby and I will have another CAR!!!!!!! Then I know we shall boom! As I wait though, I'm just trying to spot properties and see if I can do something out of state as well as within my state. This is great because it provides experience and more knowledge! I really need to learn the numbers and how that portion works...once I get that down, I will feel even more comfortable! And I will do this soon!
I guess I will track my soon to be success every 4 days. This way I don't have to do this everyday! lol...anywho- this is an exciting journey and I can't wait to be able to earn enough to start a better savings for my family and I and to have the opportunity to live without the worries of "when is the bill due?", "how much do we have for the week?" and "I can't wait till "X" pay period so we can shop for more shoes, etc." ...ugh! Work hard and don't see the profit....well, that's why I have always wanted to work for self...so I can work hard and play hard with those that I love!
Oh and I WILL!!!!!!! VERY SOON!!!!!!!

Another 4 days…and I need to transfer all of this to…….
As you can see...I finally moved it to the right place! lol...
another forum...so you all can see.
But I will not do it yet..because to be honest, I'm being lazy. Today is my B'day and I'm 25 and I'm enjoying this day! I'm currently at work and have things to do for tomorrow..but that's ok!
Here's a brief update just to keep this blogging thing up.
Ok, so far I have made the accomplishment of contacting people and at least having a couple of buyers...I have successfully done research and am still learning. I currently have some numbers to call tomorrow asap. To try to get MORE BUYERS AND ADD SELLERS TO THE LIST EVENTUALLY as well! yaaay! I'm pacing myself...but as I do this...I always think..."hmm, should I go on ahead and get my RE License soon too"...well, there's a high chance I will. I have already planned to do it by this coming year. So I will have that done! I'm still excited about the investing aspect too..but I'm just keeping it real with myself and looking at what my goals are. This way I can achieve them! So tomorrow, there is alot of work I have to do...I have to look for buyers in certain areas and look for properties...I'm super excited!!!!!!! I can't wait to see where this leads me!!!!!!! I'm feeling great about this because I have a few people I'm able to work with as I'm on my learning experience! This has been a true blessing and a fun thing to take on!

Ok, so I missed a day of blogging...
Ok, so like so far, I haven't had that much activity going on right now. I'm still doing the same daily things: Work, come home-take care of house and family (my hubby and our puppy), work on our businesses -sometimes briefly, spend time with my baby and then rest up to do it all over again!!! The time flies so fast.....I guess it's because I truly am enjoying my life!
It's a good thing...I just want more time to enjoy it a lil longer...aww, who am I kidding...ALOT LONGER!!!!!!!

Ok, so my baby's routine: He goes to school in day (i'm not in night school right now..have to go back soon), goes to work in the evening, by the time he gets home he either works on our business or chills then crashes! lol...so much to do in a day!!!!!!! ugh! But it's worth it.
Anywho-So far the research we have done has gotten us some results. So far we have found some properties and our partner and us (well technically Me-Gen but it's still a team effort!)
are actually both following up with these individuals and have made some great dents! All I can say is that I'm proud of myself (Gen) because I have found some great leads...YAY ME!!!!!!! And my partner is awesome! She makes sure I am comfortable throughout this process as I make sure she is just as comfortable too! I am really blessed to have met her and have her as a mentor and partner! I believe that we will be seeing some big things soon! I know she already has..but I know that this will be exciting because this will be my first time seeing something happen! So this is exciting! I think I'm more excited than her. I mean, she's already done this part....so I think she's excited because I am...but either way, it's fun and I'm enjoying it!!!!!!!
Yay!!!!!!! All I can say is that I need to continue to ROCK ON!!!!!!!

HI all!!!!!!!
I know it's been a while since I've been on here. But I had to take a break from this site. I just can not see myself becoming "consumed" with the readings. I have taken a step back and decided that the best option for me is to take the RE class and become licensed before taking any further ACTION. Reason being is because, although I have learned a lot... there is so much more I want to be legally sound on. So, I know that the best way for me to feel comfortable is to get the training that I need. I know that whether I am licensed or not, I can still purchase personal property and rent out. So, it's like having the best of both worlds.
As for my hubby's goals: His office is up and running and he's doing his Graphic Arts and Music productions.
