because of the recent passing of my Dad,I acquired one third of the family property. My original plan was to see if I could pay off my sisters' two thirds and take over the house. there is no mortgage on the property and my income will not make any lender give me a loan on the property. It is presently assessed for 107,00 and thats approximately 70,000.When it comes to money, family doesn't play fair. I wonder if dean has anything in his bag of tricks that I can try to acquire the family home.

I am showing the house this week to a family that is interested in taking a second look to see if it is a good fit. The price was disclosed at 124,900. She indicated that money isn't the problem so, I am thinking that they are ok with the price. Wish me luck

Well it seems that the second viewing went well. They assured us that they would call back with terms of an agreement to buy the house. After waiting over a week, I left Mary a message. She then called back indicating that right now is not the best time to consider buying a house. Personal reasons- Why put us through all of that when they weren't going to buy the house in the first place? This of course, made me angry. It was just a big waste of my time. They remind me of people that like to "window shop" with no intentions to purchase but they just want to see whats out there. I think that I will do a better job screening my calls before my next showing. Maybe that will cut down on wasted time.....
