Blog # 4

Okay, so today is February 19th, 2012 and I just got done repairing a window frame on my mom's house. Since my last post I have been working alot on the computer and on my real estate goals. I got blessed by a member of the DG family and they shared with me some valuble information that I am following and working on. It has to do with the Rock Bottom Blue Print, and I have to say that the persons kind gesture brought me to tears. Sometimes I feel like this world just wants to suck the life right out of me, but the kind gesture and action of another really fed my hopes and dreams and most of all my spirit to not give up! Thank you so much!

BLOG # 3 - A YEAR HAS PAST~

Well it has been a year and I have been met with lots of struggles, from family and friends, to spiritual and financial. I did learn a few things but I did not meet my goal. I failed to reach my goal! There I said it, but I am not giving up, I am going to focus more and try not to be so codependent. I thought I would get a little more advise from the people on this site, but so far none of my emails have been answered, so I am moving on. Maybe I need to be part of the forum, but either way it seems like I just need to take action and if someone want to take action and help then great! I won't hold my breath waiting for it, I am going to do this as best I can. I feel like I am starting fresh and maybe that is a good thing!

Blog # 2 ~ Target market & bottom line goal

Today I did some work on finding my target market. I live in the Southern California area and have minimal funds. My goals and statagies are simple. Depending on the properties I find the first plan is to buy, hold and rent. I need a minimum of $1200.00 passive income a month to be out of the rat race. Second plan is to buy cheap, rehab or spruce up and sell for profit. Finding investors with proof of funds will soon be on my to do list. So back to target market~ I found some good websites where I can get data for median home prices and a search by zip codes. I have more to do and more to learn, but I made some progress today. I am open to any advice from the DG team concerning stratagies and systems to get an accurate market analysis.

Blog # 1 ~ New to investing

Hello DG members; I have decided to start a blog and hope for the best from the DG team and website. I am very new to investing in real estate and have a number of concerns, yet I feel hopeful at the same time. In the past I used to work as a loan officer, being hosed with various brokers over the years. I currently hold a California DRE sales License and although I am not really using it at the moment, I am active and with a broker in Southern Califirnia. I have worked in customer service at a number of storage companies and truck rental companies, such as Penske and Ryder over the yearsand I do hope one day to own a storage facility.
