Dean this is so true there are countless amounts of Nay sayers around us.I am with your agenda we need to protect ourselves from Nay sayers.Thanks Dean.

People will see your light and are attracted to it, and if you allow them to cover it, your light will begin to dim. Also be conscious about dimming your own light:

One of my biggest challenges is procrastination, so I have to work at it every day a piece at a time, but still I fall on my butt. Like Brian Tracy says in his book "Eat That Frog" you just stay consistent in eating a piece at a time until your done with that thing that is the most consequential thing in your life; don't give up. But then you have the Nay-Sayers who will come along and add to what your already challenged with; always a bad time. That is when I have to look at my "Why", the reason I'm doing any of this, that brings me back to reality.

Dear Dean, I might also add that those who choose to take a negative path are simply not happy. I believe we have a choice. You always go to the positive and then pass that on--keep it up.

i have a problem with people thinking i can't be an investor, my wife tells me to get a better job etc...she says you been trying for a year with no success, it doesn't work. but i never give up on things i want to do and this is what i want, i feel like i'm about to strike. there are day's when i think she my be right because nothing is working as planned, but i feel like if i keep going it will happen for me.

Thank you for this post. I realize it was posted some time ago,but it is most needed today as an energizer. Once again, thank you for your words of wisdom and general upbeat attitude.
