Weekly Wisdom 176

Hi Dean,

Yes, I, too, have had to work being sick and having to tend to kids no matter how sick or ill we are as parents. My kids were once sick and I got sick and had to go to work. I felt better only after I got home. All the best to you.

Your blog reminds me of what Dan Hampton said about the 85 Bears

Yah know Dean.
This weeks topic really hit home with me. My nephew who has been learning to play the position of Linebacker on his high school football team, has great size and plays the postion well, but does not have that killer intinct. His Dad, my brother hounds him relentlessly about toughening up and learning that killer mindset that some of th great linebackers like **** Butkus, Mike Singletary , Lawrence Taylor and Jack Lambert had.
I spoke with him long enough to find out who his heros were...The 1985 Chicago Bears.
So, showing him a YouTube Video of Ex Bear All pro Defensive lineman Dan Hampton, Dan had made the comment about their mindset that year. And when the commentator asked Dan about their level of fierceness that year, Dan had commented:" We all played hurt that year, but playing hurt is what brought us all together as a unit, looking out for each others weakness's we really took it our opposition. Today, you see alot of professional athletes sitting out during critical games because they are injured, and they do that because they can. But back when were a unit, the rule was, if you could breathe, you could suit up to play.

Do it with a headache.

Be THANKFUL Real Estate Investing is HARD. If it were easy, then every lazy bum and idoit I have ever met, would be successful, rich; and I would have to share my DG2013 Cruise and beach with THEM!!! I would rather spend my time with those who have risen above the crowd, helped many others along the way, and have earned their way to success!

Thanks Man
