Hello Victor,
The best way to start with "bird-dogging" and getting a finders' fee, is to go through the web, such as Craig's list, Backpage, your local newspapers, signs on the road, etc...that typically state--"We Buy Houses". Contact them and ask them if they pay a referral/finder's fee.
This is where you want to start 'cause if you can find them a good deal, they would be more than happy to pay for it. Each investor offers a certain amount, but, it is not set in stone. So, you can actually negotiate that "fee".
I hope this has helped you out.
Trust me, there are tons of ads out there and you may have to sift through many before you find a serious one, but, when you find it, it will be cash in your pocket!

Hey Madison and all who are on here,
I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!! Me? After stuffing myself I will be on real estate websites. I found a foreclosed in South Hadley, nice town, thats needs $75K or more in work, empty for a year or so, and priced way to high at 400 Grand, but the local markets supports the price range.
Oh well, to find investors myself...

Hello Carol, thank you for the tips re: craig list. I have been seeing those ads, never realize their impact then Saw also ads lined on electric posts in my neighborhood about cash for property to avoid foreclosure... I just wondered how vicious people can be. Owners of houses to be foreclosed have already hit sky in their financial struggles. How low could these cash buyers go? Now I have a better appreciation of them.
