Where does one begin when they have zero time? Memphis....Help!

My wife and I are both second year medical students. I've recently considered entering the DG training program, but I just don't have any time, I wake up study, go to bed, rinse and repeat. My wife and I are soon to take boards and then we'll move to Memphis for rotations. Hopefully at this point we'll have a more "regular work day" schedule. We take boards June 15 and will be studying every spare moment until then. At that point we'll have about a month until we start rotations the last week of July. During this time we'd like to buy a house with possibilities of becoming a rental after we move away from their for residency (2 years later).

So to my point.... I'd like to buy a foreclosure (my friend tells me they're a dime a dozen in Memphis). I've been trying to get through a couple of DG books, but obviously I have plenty of other stuff to read right now. Is this a good time to learn about the real estate aspect of buying investments, or should I just try to rent?

......

I think particularly since my wife and I have 2 dogs that have to have a yard. But would you still hold to that statement if you knew a couple had no money down and no income beyond school loans for 2 more years?

YESS!!!!!

Try having NO I say again NO J.O.B. a bankruptcy pretty much no money in the bank NO NOTHING and I am referring to randy428. Do some research on him here on the site he had to go through some hard times and he is more successful than ever! Like I said go check him out you'll be amazed.

Good luck!!

The best thing that you need to learn is time management. As soon as you do that, everything will fall into place.

You can still buy properties and sell/flip/rent. I have my credit shut, and few foreclosures pending, so trust me, I know what I am talking about. You would have to dedicate some time to research and finding alternate sources of financing (try family, if they are willing).

Don't think it's not doable. Good luck
