contracts

richalvarez, have you seen the Forms and Docs tab under Student Resources on the left under Dean's picture? If you click on that, you will see Assignment of Contract in there to download. Bring that to a real estate attorney and have him explain the contract to you. Who signs where, what you have to put in there, and anything else you have a question about. Don't be afraid to ask if the real estate attorney does free fifteen or thirty minute consultations. As I understand it, you have your contract with your seller. After you and the seller have worked out your contract, wherever you sign, you put: richalvarez and/or assigns. Then you have a second contract with your buyer that basically says you are selling your contract for a fee to your buyer. Sorry, I don't know much about lease options myself.
Hope that helps.

Hi Joe,

If I might suggest that if you go to the search box located just under Dean's chin...and you enter 'assignment contracts' and then next put in 'lease options'...you will find all of the answers to both of your questions.

And if you click on the 'Forms and Docs' in the "Student Resources" section just to the left side of this page, you will find both of these forms with instructions on how to proceed with them.

Hope this helps you Joe,
