Memorial Day – For most is a three-day weekend, filled with bar-b-que’s and picnics . . . A time to get away from the normal humdrum of the week. For other’s it’s the beginning of summer, a time to look towards the long lazy days and a time to plan your summer get-a-ways. But please remember, Memorial Day holds a special significance.The true meaning of Memorial Day should be a time for a nation to honor and pay tribute to those Americans who have died in battle,prisoner of war camps and missing in action. While we honor those who have died we should also honor all our fighting men all over the world. This Memorial Day we should pay tribute to the men and families that have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom,such a selfless act of courage and love. So as you go through this Memorial Day please give a moment to say a prayer and give thanks to all our hero's and their families.
