You're so right Rob....That's what I love so much about Jen is that She dosen't just 'give' me all the answers, she allows me to find them on my own, and holds me accountable to make it happen..lol...Mindset is so crucial, in REI and in Life period...

One of the things about making a change is putting out there and letting everyone know that you see what you have to do and you tell us all that you’re going to do it. That holds you accountable for your words. And believe me we will be looking for your progress.

You know, I think that everyone has a villain with in one way or another. This whole past week has awakened most of us, me included. What I would like to suggest is try to team up again with Jen if she was willing to help last time I feel sure that she would do it again. But do it, don’t stop at the finish line. Execute, take it to the end I know you will not regret it, do it for your beautiful family.

Now go find a house to flip.

Thanks Romaluv22, and yeah, you're right... I had always read others post, and felt like I didn't really have much to bring to the table because I had not really done a deal,..but like I metioned,I had to murder that 'VILLIAN',and seeing Deans web cast, Jen, and ALL of the others, really helped me to realize that it's either now or never...lol.. I truly want to inspire others, like I'm being inspired!

Gene I really appreciate you and others taking out the time to respond to this post.. Thanks so much for the motivation to do something that I know I can do...There are so many of us out there that can really make it happen...I want to make it happen not only for my beautful family...lol..But also for the person who for whatever reason, feels like it's not possible due to their situation..

I would really like to inspire younder ones to reach out for something better than what's being taught in school as reguards to getting a J.O.B...lol.. nothing wrong with it but, we must not feel as though that's our only option..lol..

Forget about the IE Melvin. It'll come. Look at it this way, it's like saying because you can't right this second go out and buy a Lambo that you were never going to drive or buy another car.

Like I told you this afternoon, pay your dues. Do the work.

You still have DG, read and re-read Dean's books. Take action. You already know it works, heck I paid you out on two.....you've already done it. Do it bigger!

Commit to your dream, don't stop short of the finish line, go all in. Things don't just happen, you have to make them happen. They never just 'work out' you make them work!

Take action every single day. Action that propels you and your business forward. Make it a non-negotiable item. You wouldn't say "well I just don't think I'm going to brush my teeth today....i just doing feel like it" Heck no, it's something you automatically do at least 2 x a day. Create the same mindset with your business. It will soon too become second nature and done without a conscious/deliberate thought.

Make the pain of not doing it, greater than the pain of doing it.

Make the fear of NOT accomplishing you goals of greater magnitude than the fear of ANY thing you have to do. What you focus on grows! Use your faith muscle not your fear muscle!

From the 1st call you made after getting my # off a bandit sign, from that very 1st conversation, I knew you had what it took. and still to this point I believe in you. You have the drive, you have the determination keeping it channeled, controlling it and having focus.....man you would blow the lid of this thing!
I told you from the get-go I'd help you but wasn't going to do it for you. and if I'd help you would be on one condition......that you'd give back. Giving back starts everyday. Not when there is commas in the account. Stay plugged in here. Share your journey! Share your achievements and accomplishments! There are lives that only you will touch.

We all have a choice. Everyday and everything is a choice. Will you choose a 'little bit of pain' now to do the work or suffer a lifetime of regret because you quit?

Right now you are days away from your life and the life of your family changing. You know where I'm at, you know what I'm looking for......This is one of those turning points in life, decision/choice time. This is a foregone conclusion....IT WILL HAPPEN my friend...Jen IS closing 25 transactions in the next 30 days alone. And a min of 25 each month thereafter. Question you have to ask yourself: "How many of those are going to be from you?" That YOU decide.

Wow Jen... Most of the threads and posts I read here are motivational and inspiring.. but your reply to this one actually made me tear up. It also made me pull out my to-do list and remember to update my craigslist ads and a few other things I can do even in the middle of the night. What an awesome little world I stumbled into here.

I was on the road to RE success or at least getting started in May 2009 and LIFE happened to me !

Well, the NEVER GIVE UP mantra has always been my attitude and I checked in periodically, on DG.com,...knowing I would get back to it and WIN & more importantly, HELP OTHERS WIN !

Hi, Jen and everyone who posted comments before me.

I have been investing in real estate over in Indiana (am based in WA) for two or so years. I do REOs there.

But now I really want to get my wholesaling business going right here in the greater Seattle area (FSBOs, motivated sellers, etc). That is what I am really determined to succeed!

Seeing postings just like Jen's and others really helps me keep going and not go off the track. Got a couple of leads I am working on now, so we'll see how those go.

Oh yeah, I wanted to mention something here.

Of the two leads I have been working on, the second lead came directly from the owner of this already-subdivided lot (Steve). Here's what happened. I was checking out my first lead's house (an ugly house). Steve saw me looking at the ugly house on his way home from work, made a quick u-turn and told me he wants to sell his lot.

What I want to say is that when you take action, things start to work out. Because I took action on the first lead, the second lead came to me. Also, Steve wants to move out of state, so that's another potential deal!
