I was recently asked about working with banks for properties.
They were saying that some suggest working with banks while others said forget about it.
Here is my take:
Larger banks for may people are very hard to get into. Often you need a very large financial statement (more than an online proof of funds).
Smaller community banks. This you have a better opportunity to get involved with. You may find the CEO at the chamber of commerce or even the CFO at church. You can create a quicker and faster contact because there are less levels for you to go though to get to who you need.
You will normally speak with the CEO, CFO, Asset Controller or Asset Manager.
For may people this is not a one time meeting then you are done. Like lawyers this will most likely be 5-7 contacts including personal contacts.
- For a lot of people they miss this. Try one time and give up.
Can they work yes. Does it take work? Yes.
