I took off from work today so I could concentrate on REI. I've decided to stop being afraid of what could happen. Whatever happens, happens...good or bad. You just have to push through until you are successful. Haven't done my first deal yet, but I haven't given up either. I'm meeting with an attorney on Monday to go over an assignment contract. The first attorney I didn't like for reasons I won't go into here.
I called the SA today and spoke w/Jesse. He gave me some good tips. I'm more dedicated NOW than ever.

I also encountered an attorney that I knew was telling me lies. I met her, by her mother who contacted me from an ad. The mother and daughter invest and wanted me to basically find them properties, but they were ruthless and wanted to steal properties. I got the creeps and worked with them only a couple of weeks. The mother it turns out took house plat info from one of my sellers and never returned it. She claim she didn't know where it was. I initially agreed to meet the mother, but the daughter came along and they tried to tell me what they wanted, and that assigning was illegal, etc. Think they just wanted to use me.

Doing the exercises at the end of the chapters, and found great street maps of the area through our planning dept at the chamber of commerce. Put them all on the walls, for easy referral. Got to do the exercises at the end of the chapters.
