Hi everybody! Last week, I just joined this website! Now, my problem is getting started by building a buyers and sellers list. I'd had trouble with this sense March which was the time I joined Financial Insiders; Now it's April. So far, I went to 2 real estate seminars with no results as far as them not contacting me. I don't want to waste anymore time on this. That's why I'm asking all of you who is well established in real estate, that's gifted in helping rookies, and lives in the 5 boroughs to reach out to me. I could use all the help that I could get. I will be waiting for your answers. Thank you.

Hands down my favorite way to build a buyers list is bandit signs. I have personally have great success with this method, as have the students I teach. They may take a little extra time, but they’re worth it.
The sign should be 18 x 24 yellow corrugate plastic. Black permanent magic marker. Stakes to hold it in the ground. The information on the sign should say something to this effect. Make sure to mix up your signs so that they don’t all look the same.

Post these on Friday after 5 and pick them up on Sunday evenings. Place them in areas that will have a lot of exposure and people aren’t speeding by. Better yet a place people have to stop.
I would suggest other clubs and also like the coach says to use bandit signs. They work great! There is also this link http://www.deangraziosi.com/real-estate-forums/marketing-buyers-and-sell...

The very first thing you need to do is build a buyers list. My favorite way to do that is by attending Real Estate Investment Clubs. Almost every time I attend a meeting I add buyers to my list. In fact, the last time I attended I was able to add four fully qualified buyers to my list. And as a bonus I was able to start building a relationship with them so that they will be more comfortable when I present a property to them.
In addition to adding buyers to your list, you will also learn more about your local market from people that are doing what you want to do. You will meet investors, contractors, real estate agents, attorney’s, etc. which are all people you eventually want on your power team.
So my advice is to ATTEND A REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT CLUB!!!
Hi there! OK bstrickland11. I'll do that. I'll let you know how things worked out. Thank you.

I fully support bstrickland! Brandon is absolutely right! Go and attend the real estate investment clubs and network, network, network! Also, get on craigslist.org and backpage.com and kijiji.com, look up and call "We Buy Houses" ads. These are investors and they are telling you "We Buy Houses"!! They are looking for properties! Those are the easy calls to make!
good luck!

Hi everybody! What is this the best contract for the seller (realtor-which I'll be doing business with) to fill out? The Assignment of Contract form is for the buyer which is found in the Forms and Docs? How do you calculate the Finders Fee and calculate the the grand total to present to the buyer and seller? Also, where can you locate the calculations for the Finders Fee and the grand total of the property? It's not listed under the Forms and Docs. Thank you.
