Gallup Poll Posted on MSN.com

The late Johnny Paycheck wasn't the only person who wanted to take this job and shove it. According to a recent Gallup poll, seven out of 10 workers in the United States are either "going through the motions" at their jobs or they flat-out hate going to work every day. The survey classified three types of people among the 100 million Americans with full-time jobs: 30 million workers were "actively engaged" with their nine-to-fives, 50 million were "not engaged" and running on auto-pilot while another 20 million were"actively disengaged [and] undermine their companies with their attitude." Those in the latter category cost their employers over $550 billion every year — oh, were you saying something? We're busy playing "Candy Crush."

It appears real estate investing might be a cure for the daily job blues! Now is the time to change your future! It might even change your outlook for your financial health!

Each day do one thing to get you closer to your dreams because if you do today what others are not willing to do, then tomorrow you can do those things that others are only dreaming about doing!

Take Control of Your Life. I Am with You, Joe

Can you imagine getting up every day and doing something you hate. Obviously a lot of people do. What a sad state of affairs. I cannot imagine being in such a position. Do as Joe teaches. Take control of your life. Spend time each day working toward improving your situation. Steps taken EVERYDAY will get you there. Best of luck to all of you.

i know what you mean

I'm one of those in the mix. Eventhough I closed a small profitable first deal a couple weeks ago, I still have to work full-time to pay my normal bills. I would love to get to a point to where I can make enough from rei investing, to not have to work for at least a year or more. Most ppl aren't satisfied with your current job, because it doesn't pay them enough money to live on, especially if they have a family, and they are living paycheck to paycheck. Joe & Roy both have valid points. Smiling

I for sure hate my current

I for sure hate my current job. I make decent money but can not take my bosses attitude everyday!! It's a small business with just 2 employees plus him and he has a horrible attitude all the time. I have been working everyday as much as possible to change my future and go full time to rei!! One day very soon is all I keep telling myself!

Roy,

Thanks for the additional comments and insight. I often tell other students that real estate might be hard but having a day job is even more difficult! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

thishousebuyer,

Keep up the good work and you will get to where you want to be. Each day is a learning curve and a chance at the next deal. Eventually you will become free of the day job as the real estate investing takes form. Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe
