Hi,
I regularly subscribe to the threads that are the most relevant to what I am interested in and participate in. I no longer seem to have that option. Anyone else notice this, can I do something on the site to re-establish that feature?
Thanks
Angela

Does anyone have any experience using this company for business tax purposes?

I noticed that, too. I will really miss that feature if it's gone. They may just be changing things around on the site. If so, I'm sure it will be even better.
We'll see what happens.

Hmmm, maybe they are changing things on the site. That was one of my favorite features. I have more than a few tech. hitches here lately. Thought it was my computer.

And, we are back!
I like having those email alerts!
There are quite a lot of them though, seems as though I am interested in just about everything! Hey, knowledge is power right?
I am curious, what is better for the landlord. To lease or to rent month to month.
Sorry, I think I posted this in the wrong place.
Hi,
I put a comment to Dean's blog, and suddenly I start getting hundreds of threads to my email. I swear I didn't ask for or subscribed to it, although the support lady didn't believe me and kept saying I did (rude!).
Anyway, I am a member for 3 years already, never touched the setting since started, and never had this flood of emails. I could not find anywhere on the site a place to unsubscribe or stop this. Anybody knows about it?
Thanks.

Thanks Bill,
I went there and couldn't find any "unsubscribe" link. I tried also the "my Account" and really looked for it, but was not successful there too. Can you please help me just a little bit more?
Thanks in advance.
and there is nothing there. I was sure that was the link necessary to unsubscribe. Sorry, but I am at a dead-end. Send a PM or email to dgadmin2 and maybe he can help you directly.

because that's what the guys at the support first said. They don't even check what they are saying. I'm relieved to see that I am not the only one. Thanks for your time and input. I will check with dgadmin2.
click on "My account" on the left side of the page, select the "user profile" tab towards the upper right top of the new page...
Scroll down a little bit and uncheck the box next to subscribe under "subscriptions"
**NOT DONE YET!!**
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click on "Submit"
That should stop any new emails.
PS - If you don't see the check-box and the word subscribe, click on the little arrow to the left of the "subscriptions" heading and it should appear.

Thanks. I may sound silly now, but there is no "subscription" under my "user-profile" page.....
I have:
1)Basic Info (Name, Location, About me)
2)Stats (Occupation, Children, Education, Status)
3)Contact (Yahoo, Skype etc.)
4)Links (Homepage, Blog, Myspace)
Nothing else, right or left..
Am I looking at the wrong page (it is user-profile under my account)??
What am I missing?
Thanks for your help.

You might have to scroll around to see what I'm talking about. Look for the arrow.

Well, for some unexplained reason I don't have this "subscription" tag that you have and showed me so nicely (and I appreciate it).
no subscription there
I still can not unsubscribed something I have never subscribed for, and the thread emails keep coming, in hundreds...
The only solution is probably to block this email address, which would be wrong since I want to get the regular mail from this site...

Thanks for your time!
Well this is interesting.
I decided to check the box to subscribe on my profile, went to bottom of page and clicked on submit. Revisited user profile page and it's still unchecked.
Did this three times and still unchecked.
I wonder if this has something to do with the new site?
Dunno
I'm gonna poke around a little more and see if anything changes.

to check this. Support didn't want to believe me and behaved as if I don't know what I am doing. And in the meantime I get this
Please let me know if you find any solution.
Run! Run as fast as you can. Most of this can be done yourself. You dont need them. I wound up having to settle to pay half of the original agreed cost to them. They will continue to call you to try and sell other services you dont need. I was rather disappointed with DG and the fact that there's any affiliation whatsoever. Good luck
