Look at how he completely misses his first shot. He did not give up and go home after he missed his first shot. He stayed in the game and he kept shooting. He became a hero because he got in the game when the window of opportunity opened. All of this probably parallels your real estate career. The average person will go out there and give real estate a shot. When they miss their first shot they quit and say things like "it doesn't work" or "I couldn't find a realtor" or "assignment of contracts aren't accepted in my area" or "nobody will accept an offer at 50% off" etc. Don't be average. Be a hero. Enjoy.

I love these stories, especially being a new coach. I hope I can participate in someone else's dream coming true and look forward to hearing from others and reading other's posts of goals being met.

Wow, that was an amazing story. I've been around basketball for 17 years, and this one really touch me. It's a great inspirational story and we should learn to never give up in life. Thanks CBR for posting this one!
