need your help

need your help

I have been trying to get into real estate for years. Bought two properties in 2004 in CT, and it has been a nightmare since day one (bad area, a lot of evictions and repairs) I have lost a lot of money in the 6 units property. I want to move on now, but need advice and guidance on where to buy.
I work full time in NYC (commute 4 hours every day to work), my baby will be 3 in September 2014 and was diagnosed with autism last year. He needs my help, but I do not have much free time to be with him, and I need to change that now.
I have been feeling so guilty for not being around more for my baby that I took a 7 months leave of absence from work to spend more time with my baby and get him involved in more programs to help him with his delays/autism. I need more free time, and I feel the only way of getting this time is by trying to get into real estate. I would love not to go back to work and become a full time real estate investor to support my family, but I am scared of making more mistakes in real estate and selecting the wrong area to invest again. I have bought many real estate books, attended many real estate seminars, paid for personal coaching with no results, but I still believe in real estate….. It is my only hope now to spend more time with my baby. Hope to find honest and sincere people in this site willing to help me with their experience and advice.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

I am sorry you are struggling so and that is a very, very long commute. Perhaps you can find a way to make money other than real estate first without such a long commute. You need money to pay the bills afterall, and you can still work real estate while you care for your baby and put food on the table. Perhaps friends or the community can help you find a more suitable job to begin the transition. You mention that you bought various programs, so I would say try to learn from this free site, while you put the other things in place. Best wishes!

Great Site

This site is a great place to get free help and the people here all want to help. Wow that drive is way to much, I know we all do what we have to do but wow! I wish the best for you.

YOU CAN DO THIS

Aaron

Your on the right site

Hey I'm from CT and I do investing throughout all of CT. If you still have the 2 properties in CT and need help getting rid of them send me a PM with your contact info. Also if you haven't read Dean's last 2 books that he offers for free on this site I would recommend that you read them ASAP. If you have no money you can start by wholesaling and if you do have money then you can start flipping houses or buying and holding for cash flow.

Congrats on not giving up & taking action & coming to this site I give to you for that. I agree with Reynold-wholesaling is the way to go to generate cashflow every month with no money down!

And the place to start is the free book 30 days to RE Cash, that simple. It will bless you & guide you to cash pretty quickly.

I will pray for your child & you.
