When you're using an agent to pull comps for you and such, and then you end up assigning the deal, will your agent still get a commission from the sale?
Do you have to put a clause in the assignment contract that states that the end-buyer uses your agent or something?
My agent is working hard on these for me, and I don't want to stiff her or anything after all the work!
THANKS!
Tracey

so even if you assign it to a 3rd party...My agent would still be part of the closing also as far as getting his cut from the 3rd party and 1st party being put together? Hope that makes sense?

A few agents that I have come across are kind of stand offish about this method of doing business. I make it clear to them that I am by any not trying to stiff anyone out of money. I just would like the agents help in obtaining a deal to assign to someone with cash. SOME OF THE AGENTS WANT ME TO GET A PREQUALIFICATION LETTER from the investor before they start doing anything.I don't know its kind of rough for me. But I wil figure it out. Any opinons or ideas I will gladly accept.
