How to make Rea Estate Agents work for you

How to make Rea Estate Agents work for you

I have now had my third real estate agent turn me down saying that I am way too aggressive with my offers, none of which have actually been put in. They are offers I ask the real estate agents to put in. Can I get feedback of which is best, to use a real estate agent and how(I have read the book but it hasn't worked for me yet) or to make offers on your own.

Please help

Hello from the beautiful Ozark Mtn. town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
We've been round and round with RE agents; heard a lot of 'that won't work here" and "you're making offers too low", etc. then, we came upon a younger gal, new, who was bold and willing to try anything. this worked pretty darn well for a few deals, THEN, her broker who micromanages everything. .. starting weighing in and she developed a set of her own personal problems(unfortunately) and sort of lost her zeal. . .what to do??????We began responding to and inquiring with other area agents within the same board of realtors(turf issues abound!!!!!!!!!!!) and are currently in search of our new AGENT. DG teaches that you should shop around until the right investor- friendly agent gets on board. KEY: we developed the saying, in an explanatory manner to prospective RE agents: " we understand that the seller's agent represent the best interest of the seller, the buyer's agent represents the best interest of the buyer; there is NO ONE except ourselves to represent the INVESTOR..i.e., us" so there.
still looking crosstown' and finding killer deals

Thank you for you comments. It is a numbers game as well. I am currently working with another real estate agent. I guess there needs to be more profiling the agent to make sure that the agent is the right "fit" for an investor. I am sure like the new book talks about, that if you find the right Realtor to help in the process, that it is a win win situation and that it gives us as investors more time to continue to find the deals!!!

Regarding Real Estate Agents

Indeed.. .life is a glad celebration.
adios!

Regarding Real Estate Agents

Has anyone gone on the site http://www.naeba.org/index.htm It is the national association of exclusive buyers agents. I really don't know what that means. Any experiences from them?
Thanks,

Rusty

Deal with RE agent

I am planning to shop around for a real estate agent. What would be a good deal to offer them, like commissions etc?
