OfflineHow can people lock up properties, and put 10 dollars down???What can you say to get that part accepted also...Especially wholesaling...The and/or assigns and then on top of that, only 10 dollar down...I guess I am interested in it cause it is such little money out of pocket, and obviously that is a wonderful thing...Just curious, thats all.

Just do it. LOL! When you fill out the contract just put $10.00 on the line that asks about deposits. When you go over the contract the homeowner will usually say "Whats this $10.00?" I tell them that is the deposit that the title company will hold in escrow when we are ready to close. I tell them I contract so many houses that my company has a policy of $10.00 deposits since we do so many. Then just go on explaining the rest of the contract. For me so far all I have gotten are a few chuckles and an "OK."
