i was born when MJ was coming into his own as a young man; witness all his famous videos; Thriller, Smooth Criminal, Bad, Beat It, Dirty Diana, Scream with his baby sister Janet Jackson. Ah man I remember time when my brother got the red jacket with all the zippers on it like MJ had in his Beat It video that Christmas time when video came. Also witness too all the changes he went through & accusations against him. Crazy! I will always remember him as just being Michael Jackson "King of Pop". He like so many others; Luther Vandross, Gerald Levert & his brother, James Brown and many others will be truly miss.

I miss him as well. He has impacted so many lives and truly changed the world of music. He will be missed for sure and he will never be forgoten.

I never had the chance to see him live, which I deeply regret. I know from his videos he was one if the best performers to ever walk this earth, and seeing those clips of the rehearsals just a few days before his death made me wish I could've seen him perfrom even more. God bless him and let him rest in peace.

We have been fortunate to witness in our life how influencial a person could be in this world! Yes it is appropiate to speak on this! He represents how in magnitude a persons actions in a positive way could help change who you are as a sole on this earth. Acknowledge his contribution on this earth. He was great and will continue for years to come to generations beyond our thoughts. A trend setter, a person who goes beyond what most people say can't be done. SUCH AS DEAN!!!! We relate to these giants because of the great amount of support and inspiration and motivation and dedication they represent!!!! They in exchange bring out the greatness we so desire in ourselves! Many of you say that I am inspiring to you. He has been one of the greatest inspiration to me! His music has over the years, most of my life in fact, has been a healing tool to me. Who would I be without the influence of music. NANCY WILSON, Ahhh! It's good for the mind and spirit! It is appropiate to say Michael I WILL MISS YOU. I THANK HIM AND HIS FAMILY FOR THE YEARS OF INSPIRING ME TO DREAM. I remember as a kid watching their cartoons, The Victory Tour, Ben, Destiny, Thriller and countless others. But to reply to the thread...Mike has been a living legend for the past 2 decades. I was born in 1984, so I'm old enough to remember "everything" he did in the 80's, but I do remember the things he did even in the 90's. The man put out great music that really had an impact on people's lives. And he was without a doubt THE greatest performer of all-time. Look at how many people copy Michael Jackson today and has copied him for the past 2 decades, that says a lot by itself. I'm not gonna act like I was some huge, die-hard fan, but I've always had a high-level of respect for Michael Jackson....even when the idiots dogged him out for the lies that were told on him.

I agree that this forum is very appropriate to discuss a man who was a pioneer in his field. Who before him ever had their video debut at a movie theatre (Thriller)? Who used cutting edge technology in their videos (morphing in Black or White)? The moon walk existed before Michael Jackson but what an impact it had when he did it at the Mowtown 25th anniversary show! Even with his latest venture, a 50 concert tour, all dates were already sold out!! Let's face it, what ever you opinion of Michael Jackson's personal life he was a multi talented and very creative entertainer who was much loved by people around the world. One thing that's being revealed about him now is how generous he was, giving millins to charties because he had a desire to ease the suffering of others. As real estate investors we make up our own minds about the value of a property by a different set of criteria than most others (think a little differently), let's do the same for each other as human beings. Please don't get caught up in rumor and innuendo, find the truth for yourself.

Well actually, no, I didnt know that it was posted under everything else, and no, I wasn't crying about it, or anything else for that matter. Maybe a better choice of words(crying about it) would be more appropriate next time. Yes I agree with you Lubertha about everything you're saying about MJ. He has shaped millions of lives with his music as well as his deeds during his lifetime. Not one living soul(other than Christ) in the course of history been gifted with the abilities and talents that he were gifted with and no other in our lifetime ever will be.

His death is devastating to many around the world. At some point you have to look at what could be learned from this tragedy. We discussed this on a recent post. Fear to fail and our negative surroundings. It shows me that getting beyond the fears in life, which he did, that your biggest dream could be obtained. Also that no matter how wealthy you are or how famous, a negative surrounding can be result in nothing but disaster of ones self. And sometimes its a trap that can control your ability to rise above it all. Everybody has a challenge to over come in life. Unfortunately his was on public display. Sometimes it is good for us to express how we feel about different situations and instances. This is a form of healing for those who enjoyed good music by the King of POP. Since God is my idol, MJ was never, but I adored his music very much and could listen to it anytime. Now he is gone, we have to move on with the business of the day, that of REAL ESTATE.
