OfflineHey, I saw a new infomercial on Sunday from Dean in which he advertised a Wealth Building Workshop coming to my area next week (San Francisco), March 1 - 4. and most likely in your area soon as well. This is EXCITING! I have seen MANY other gurus come & go doing their seminars, but I have NEVER seen Dean do a seminar. So I am REALLY looking forward to this event!! This sounds awesome! (You NEVER stop!) (And thanks for that.)
Note: I have NO idea if Dean is actually going to be there. None-the-less, this is going to be exciting! Can't wait to see it.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I haven't been to the site this week.
Regarding assignments, first of all did you sign a purchase contract with the seller? That's the first thing. Then you can arrange with the seller to show the property to your potential buyers and you are protected with the signed contract with the seller.
If the buyer is interested then you can sign the ASSIGNMENT CONTRACT with the buyer and make some money.
One thing I might reccommend is that if you are REAL new at this and you don't know what you are really doing or you don't feel confident enough to do this on your own. My suggestion would be to find a local experienced investor to help you do the deal. Offer to split the assignment fee with the experienced investor. You might make less money but now you know the deal is going to be done right and you still make some money and you also get educated. I think that is an excellent way to get started & make money and learn at the same time and move forward.
Otherwise if you feel confident enough to do it yourself you will make more money.

The 800 number I posted in this thread is from a year ago so it very well might not be valid any more. But Dean's Seminar (workshop) was here again this month, April 2011!
They talked about making money with foreclosures. They talked about making money with Tax Liens. (I love that one). And they talked about making money on the Internet. It was a great event!
You'll know when they are in town because they advertise the event on all your local channels. You can't miss it.
Dean did not show up at the event and that didn't surprize me.
And they give you a free copy of two of Dean's books on CD ROM. Plus a DVD of Dean interviewing a couple of his top students, including Matt Larson, just for attending the event!
Oh and they also gave us a free digital camera too.
