Hi, D, I got it to work. I figured out I could use my Blackberry to login to the net and was on a computer when I tried the first time. It's not that fast, and sometimes not everything shows up, but I was able to hijack (shhh!) a neighbor's internet connection and tried again and voila, it worked

only 15 people here are 'helping' you. What kind of 'family' is that?
I know alot more than 15 have read this post--but didn't want to take the 2 minutes to help.
I really hope they don't NEED help and can't get it in the future. If they are not willing to take 2 minutes to help a member of the DG family, they will probably never make it anywhere else either.
