OfflineAbout a month ago, I became part of the unemployed from my full-time job. I do work 14 - 20 hrs a week at a part-time job, but for a year, I desperately wanted to get out of it. I am collecting unemployment. We were approved last Friday for chapter 7 bankruptcy. I need to find a way to borrow about $1,500 with a no payment for six months type of deal. I think it will take three months at the most. Part of the funds will go towards to joining the SA and the other part is to buy supplies for this business and upgrade my cellphone plan. I just need that bank or lender who will work with me. I understand the books and stuff here, but I really need a mentor. I don't want to look for another job. I want this to be my job. I am 47 yrs old and tired of working for someone else who decides what I am worth. My parents won't lend me the money. They are realtors and skeptical of this.
I too filed chapter 7 bankruptcy. There is no bank or any lending institute that will give you an unsecured loan right now. I still pay for my car and house but have to start with a secured credit card. I would try to borrow from friends or family. I wanted to remortgage but can't for another year. It takes 2 years to get an fha loan and 10 years to get a traditional loan.
I am simply reading the books and can't believe the information both in them and on this web site. We think we'll do our first deal within the next month without the SA. Maybe try making a little on your own first and then enrolling.
