Beginning in real estate. I have had two of Dean's books for over a year. I love them, but with no money, I just can't figure out how to get off the ground. That bothers me more than anyone knows. Just like when I started football refereeing 31 yrs ago, my dad was in it. I could come home and ask him questions. The game started to slow down for me and I became a very good official. I am 47 now, but due to my heart attack, my referee days are behind me. I just need that help to be able to talk to someone. I have two kids (15 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter). I am married, but that will be over sometime in 2012. Currently, I am unemployed and drawing unemployment. Yes, I am desperate.

I am new here, but I am sure my situation is similar to most. Filed bankruptcy two months ago. Working a a full-time and part-time job and not able to make ends meet. My goal is to stop working at my p/t job within six months and replace it with the income from real estate. My parents are in real estate, but they are 78 yrs old. They are not into "thinking a little different." I have been watching DGs infomercials for a long time, but was inspired to buy his books and cds a couple of weeks ago. I have been in contact with one of the reps discussing the Success Academy. Not sure where I will find $1,500 to join and make my money back soon, but I cannot let anything become an obstacle I cannot remove. I have to make this work, because things are not getting any better and I want a better way of live for my family. I want my two middle-school aged kids to know there is a way. I am tired of telling them we cannot afford it right now, but I know their love is unconditional. Any advise will surely help. Joe
