Does anyone know if The Company Corporation is where you pay your annual state fees for having a corporation. I received a bill from them stating I owe them $235.00. The letter doesn't say much other than California Statutory Representation and my Corporation name.

can you please elaborate on your question? I'm not sure if what you're asking is if you pay your LLC fees to the State where you have your company? The answer would be yes, if you do business in California, your (physical) office of business is located in California, or your business bank account is opened in California, then you will have to pay a fee to the State of CA, even if you opened your LLC in another State.

Thank you for answering. I originally paid my fees to the State of California. I received a bill in the mail from a company called The Company Corporation. I am not sure if The Company Corporation collects fees for each state or if this Company is a scam. I looked them up on the BBB but that didn't really help me.
I am asking if anyone has heard of this company collecting LLC fees. I think I should just wait until I receive a bill from the state of California before paying my LLC fees again. I just don't want to not pay something I should pay.
I didn't understand what you meant in your earlier post...
never heard of the Company Corporation, but I did receive a bill from some other company billing me for some required signs that my company needs to post in the office-they make it look as if it is from the State, but if you read the small print you notice they are trying to lure you into 'purchasing' their products...
I would be very careful with companies asking you for money... check out the link below from the Secretary of State warning business of scams...
If in doubt I would contact them.

That company is not your registered agent, are they? Because you have to pay your registered agent an annual renewal fee. It's my understanding that you have to keep your registered agent account up to date. In this case I have an LLC.
That is a scam. If it is what I think it if they want you to pay them or receive a fine. The paper you need to file the statement of information only cost $20.00 to the CA SOS. Then you do have to pay $800.00 every year.
I hope this helps.

Call the number that's on the bill.
The only place you need to call is the CA SOS. You can also look on their web site and it will tell you all the fees you have to pay for a LLC. Plus all the forms you need to fill out and send in. Every thing you need to know about a CA LLC in on the SOS web site.
Hope that helps you.

Thank you Valuni, mbjoseph, Steve & Veronica, and travisderod for all of your input. It helped a lot. I knew I could count on the DG family to help me out. Thank you all again.
it sure sounds like a scam to me and needs to be reported to maybe the BBB but to your state's general attorney.
