I have a list of private money lenders I found through some research online. I was thinking that I would write a letter and send it to each asking if they would like to invest with me. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe an example of a letter to look at? Are there any laws that I need to be aware of when asking people I don't know for money?
Thanks, James

Oh and you need to look up and fill out the Reguglation D Form. You dont need this form if you are going to ask friends or family. However you do if you are going to ask people you dont know for money. Here is a seminar i recently went to Allan Cowgill. http://www.privatelendingmadeeasy.com/ He is all about private money lenders and how you can do it right.

Thanks alot!
how you solicit to private money lenders. The SEC is NOT a branch of government you want to attract attention from! They're worse than the IRS. Read this thread for a lot of information previously posted about this very topic: http://www.deangraziosi.com/real-estate-forums/financing-and-credit/3627... Read it, about halfway down the first page, it starts out discussing the no no s of soliciting private money lenders.
All the best!
It is CERTAIN we will SUCCEED!
