I went to the free seminar and am reading Dean's book 30 Days.
I have talked to Gena on the phone - the woman is a giving machine folks, Thanks Gena!
Then the Holiday jumped in my way
The good news is my husband and I had a few days to just hang out with each other, trust me with the man's work schedule that seldom happens, and he's in line and on board with me about REI!
Yes!
We've agreed on a basic outline that essentially says I must earn the money via methods in the book to pay the tuition for advanced training.
I can do that.
I am clear on my Why.
And that's all about The Freedom To Choose.
My 30 day goals are getting clear.
I am committed to daily actions according to the book, 30 Days.
Starting this journal just earned me a check mark
As my daughter said when she was tiny "I'm gecited!"

Gecited for you too! Just keep plugging along, that is what I am doing. I am watching my progress all the time. I have my down days, in fact, this weekend, but my plan is to put an offer in this week. I am still seeking that first deal. We're off!

Todays assignment started with Find Realtors!
I have never experienced such telephone resistance from myself! LOL!
And I confess I did as much avoidance as possible, washed dishes, fertilized plants, did digital photo-editing finally picked up the phone.
Selected a KW office about 60 miles south of me, followed Matt's script.
The receptionist didn't laugh at me LOL she considered seriously and then gave my call to an agent, who said yes to everything!
She works with a lot of investors & has for the past 12 years.
She was impressed with and affirmed the numbers, 25 offers to get a deal that's about right.
She said she'sll get my email about 6:30 & will have a list to me tonight of about 50 properties that are As Is, Vacant & have had a price reduction.
Woo-hoo!!!
Also the call got dropped - modern technology & cell phones
- so I didn't get a chane to ask her for the cash buyers list, but did ask for it in the email.
WOW!
Girl already has 57 listings sitting in my inbox!!!!!
It's 5:30 here she said she'd get the email at 6:30 - lovin her!
What do I do now???
Try not to burn your Agent out like I did.
Next, (You), filter out the most motivated leads.
Look in the description box, sort out a few at a time, not all 25 at once. Make sure they are in the same ZIP CODE.
Try not to send all 25 at the same time.
Depending on your Market (What people are paying in your Target area).
Ask you agent, for the Hot Spots.
Make Offers,

That sounded like a really good realtor experience. It's nice to hear some positive talk (as it were) here in this forum rather than negative talk. A lot of times we get a bad rap here.
