Got the buyers list with only 2 across the river in Parkersburg WV and i think one here in Marietta Ohio (Where im at)....out of that long list this is all i have!...Is there any other way to get phone numbers and etc other than the phonebook/whitepages.com?

When sending letters to potential buyers what have all you DG'Rs found that works and doesnt work?...i have like 3 or so letters to send out but am curious if anything works better than another here in SE Ohio/Parkersburg WV area?

Now tomorrow ill try to hunt up some yellow pad paper and a red ink pen!...YEEHAW!

What is the worst way to start out a day?...???...Freakin' Migraine the size of texas right behind my right eye like where its at all the time when i have one!...Looks like i might try to get some work on the RE business tonight but may just wait till tomorrow like i dont have nothing to do tomorrow either!?...UGH!

Somehow its not giving me any info at all...matter afact its not even finding it through the courhouse records....

Yea yiou guessed it i was gonna say ive done only 1x but had success at the yellow legal pad in red & leaving the envelope unsealed but you knw what also wld work & i have done this a lot is ghost ads i have 1/2 my buyers which are 6 from these ads just place an ad on craigslist with "Desperate Must sell!!!!! Great house" & put a price w/would be half of your normal starter house price is n put rehab only 20k or something like that your name & # if it is a google # not yiour cell ph, & your ph or email will start blowing up believe me. its great. happy monday.

I know what your talking about as "Ghost Ads" but i cant put any on CL anymore for i think someone spammed me on there to many times...it needs a cell number to reactivate but i have none right now...also
Just found out through chatting on facebook with another REI investor that the legal pad wont work...i have to take it back and find yellow printer paper....Geez after all day searching for it i found what i "Needed" and ended up not needing it!...UGH!...Tomorrow will be a day of returning the paper....i wonder if they got yellow printer paper?...may save me a trip back to wally world?...if they even have it?

Took the Legal pad back and am in the process of hunting up Yellow copy paper (printer friendly) and a fine point sharpie and my white legal pad i have for notes and stuff....then onto finding "Someone" w/ yellow copy paper!...

I got some yellow printer paper as Staples. "Staples Brights" is the brand. Says it's 'comparable with all office machines.' I've used it in my Brother laser fax machine/printer and it works fine. Just ask one of the staff and they should point you right to it.

Actually there is no staples near me...i did however find one spot that has it!...the only thing is ....What SHADE of Yellow do i need?...lol

Well, I suppose that depends on what you're doing.

If you want to print up some quick and easy bandit signs which is what I was originally thinking for mine I'd have to say regular letter size printer paper is a bit small. 8 1/2 x 11 inches rather than the recommended 18 x 24.

For flyers and handouts 8 1/2 x 11 should be fine. Personally I'd aim for a color you can read a good solid black print on comfortably without excessive eye strain. Again it depends on your application.

Um, Dean recommends the letters to prospective buyers be on yellow paper? Did I miss that somewhere?

Got caught up mowing orchard and tilling for someone else to get ready for the season...nothing REI based happend today...Stinkers...Dean didnt recommend it nor did he say anything about it in the first place...this just happend to be one of those extra things that i have to do ...for it seems to work via i know several other DG'rs are using the method with awsome success!...having one to help...now the proper size for the bandit signs is actually mentioned in the book 30 days to RE $$$! 18x24

Always always carry a note pad* and a pen. And make sure the pen works. Hard to use while behind the wheel though. I have a little digital recorder that works great then - if I remember to bring it with me...

* The pocket sized top spiral ones are extremely convenient. You can get multi-packs at the dollar store for cheap. I always nip off a corner of the bottom of each page after I've used it to give me quick access to the next blank sheet.
