My name is Mike I'm from the New England area and i just bought Dean's book Be A Real Estate Millionaire. I just got to page 100 and i am going strong. Still a bit nervous about the unknown and getting started and all but I'm working through that. I know its going to be a lot of work, especially since I have only fair credit, no money and just got laid off but i think if i work hard at it (and get a job) i can do it. Any help or advice would be wonderful.

Cant wait till DG's new book gets here, I'm very excited to read it. Just finishing BARM. I help my family do taxes so as you can imagine very busy at this time of year, but I'm getting my reading in during breaks and after work. My goal is to get things going in May (after tax season) so i have time to read the new book and i also ordered the course Think A Little Different in Real Estate, so by the time i'm ready to Rock N Roll i will have alot of info to work with. Very excited.

It'll be fun putting that enthusaism and new-found knowledge to work for you! Just think how excited you'll be when you hold up that first big check or see your name on the title of a property with a bunch of cash-flow and equity to draw from. Woohoo! Go do it!!

Well it has been 3 years since my last post. A lot of things have taken me off course but I have finally put those negative things aside and decided it is time to take action. I am still a newbie. I just re read all of Deans books and now I am ready to start taking charge of my life. They say when you hit rock bottom you have a moment of clarity. Well I'm not sure I was all the way at the bottom but things have gotten pretty bad and I can see clearly that I need to make some changes and make a run at the prize. With the support of the great people at the success academy and all the great people online here I am looking forward to pulling myself up by the bootstraps and taking charge of my financial future.
