I started with Dean in Mar of 2009, and am feeling confident and frustrated at the same time.
My business partner and myself attended the conference in Arizona in Apr\09 and loved everything about it and left there with the knowledge and the inspiration to start making money right away. We are hoping that we will return next year, and catch up with everyone on their progress, and inspire people as we were inspired by so many.
Today, I saw an ad from a single mom with bad credit and wants to own her own home, so I called her, nervously of course, and have set up an appt. to discuss some options with her.
I believe that the lease to own option would suit her best, and we plan on discussing some things for her to do to achieve better credit.
We are meeting on Monday, so I will keep you posted.

Okay, so I am still struggling with an agent who understands what we are trying to do. We are interviewing another guy on Monday after our meeting with a motivated buyer I mentioned the other day.
I am also struggling with finding motivated sellers, everyone we talk to needs the asking price and will not budge.
I am determined to make this work.

Yesterday I recieved a call from a motivated seller! Very exciting. We will be looking at her house today, it is a mobile home in a seniors community, and I hope to either bird dog this deal or assign it.

We went to look at the mobile home on Friday, and it turns out that it has alot of structural damage and we don't feel that this is in our criteria.
It was a good experience however, to be able to present the client with our service and providing ourselves with an exit strategy.
Tomorrow we will be talking to the client who has no money and would like to own her own home. And we will also be interviewing another agent.

We finally found an agent that is on the same page. What a great feeling, knowing that I am not talking through my hat when interviewing, that somebody actually gets it! I feel this is a huge step in our career and we are now on our way.
Tomorrow, we will be speaking with a hard money lender, and I am confident that we will be bringing him on our team as well.
We also have our first buyer. I had mentioned her a couple of weeks ago. We have decided to purchase a house at a good deal and turn around to sell it to her for a small profit. Our agent has suggested that we buy through her, and sell it privately which she will draw up the paper work for. BRILLIANT!!
Thanks to Dean and all the inspiring voices I read in this site, I know that SUCCESS is within my reach.

Sounds like things are going great for you...I felt a relief when i got a good agent our my side too...Now keep going at it, and keep building relationships...The old saying "its not what ya know, its who ya know" def comes into play alot...Of course knowing things doesn't hurt either, but still...So much luck to ya and hope everything keeps going well!!!
