Hi DG Group,
I read that 28% of home purchases in March in San Diego County were cash transactions. Is it possible and legal to get addresses of cash home buyers from the County Assessors Office? If so, how? I was told at that office that I need to talk with a realtor?? I will greatly appreciate any help. Thank you.
Hi, yes realtors should be able to come up with a list of all properties purchased cash and get the names, addresses of those buying using cash in a real estate transaction. I am a realtor and our Multilisting system allows us to get this information for the northeast Oklahoma area. I am sure other areas should be fairly similar. You might want to talk to a realtor who works with investors as it will be easier for him/her to understand how to obtain this info faster.
