I just got on the www.coaphonesolution.com to see about setting up the "robotic system" and found out that it sends messages to your cell phone. Does that count on your minutes that you use per mo. If the messages that you record, and the answers that people leave on the recording added up, wow! my cell phone would be hundreds of dollars per month. Does anybody know how this system works, and would you please calrify for me. Thanks

First off I'm not sure how it works. Does it have to forward to your cell ph? What if it forwarded to a land line? We bought magic jack & paid $19.95 (at Walmart)and pay 19.95 a year for service from then on. This includes long distance calls. Hope this is helpful.

yeah it does forward to land lines but I dont have one.
I just found a new website called Hotline America(www.hotlineamerica.com) it's only 1495 a month and I think it does not Have any extra fee incoming and outgoing calls and has 25 extensions.
Another idea would be to team up with two or more investors and split the monthly bill you can accomplish this by setting up the general greeting that says if you're from New York press ext. six Or New Jersey press ext. seven. Each investor could have its own extension to record his or her own.
I'm working on a recorded message now and a marketing plan so I've been educating myself on the system. Right now the marketing towards distressed sellers is my goal with the message system right now.
Hope this helps

, no problems only solution
If you are worried about your minutes then don't forward them at all and just check the website regularly. Just a thought. That's what I did in the beginning until I got my business phone set up.

I bought the Magic Jack. Have Charter as my ISP. Magic Jack would not work with them. Seems that you ALSO need the ISP service through charter. So the claim that Magic Jack is a low cost is not accurate. The ISP also has a charge that needs to be added in. This make the Magic Jack expensive

Cindy I use coa with no problem, I do not get messages forward to my cell phone nor my house phone, when I receive calls and the like I get a message sent to my email address informing that I have a new call and they describe in the email what kind if they caller hung up or left a message or not and then it will show how long it was along with the number they called so I think it is all in the settings section on coa.
