It seems like posting flyers is not that good of an idea since many places don't allow you to post flyers anywhere.
i posted on craig's list and am trying the newspaper but I welcome any great ideas if you have them.

Carols Ghost ad on Craigs list idea works pretty well. It seems like a long process. We had 8 replies and then didn't contact them in time and we blew that. The other ad ideas haven't worked as well so pay attention to what works.

Do you have large department stores where you live. How about a Wal-Mart or such? You could put fliers on the wipers. Allot of them may become trash in the wind but some may in up in the hands of someone needing help or be looking to buy. Maybe you could talk with some property management company's. I'm sure they have clients that are interested in more properties to invest in. Have you looked up people in the paper or yellow pages that advertise they buy houses? I'm trying to learn how also (read my first post), But first I'm going to search this site from top to bottom for the answer. Good luck, hope you find the answer, and if you do......... please tell me!! LOL

I've been trying to post fliers, and classified ads in my area. Recently, in my town there was a public auction, I was able to find the tally sheets which has all the bidders names. I then went to the phone book to look for those names and started to call every bidder on that sheet. I was able to find two additional buyers. I'm in the process of building my list as well. Hope this information will help.

Go up to search just below Dean`s pic and type in "80 ways to find buyers" by Jeff Jensen. He will get you on the right path.

You can also plaster bandit signs around town with any great deals you have. Those will pull in good leads as will newspaper ads.

Here is what I did and had some pretty good responses to it, I couldn't
afford to buy the corrigated bandit boards so I went to wal marts late at
night while they were restocking and got a lot of boxes cut them up and
wrote the words just as they were in the book under bill system. ( Buy A
Home, Why Rent? Buyers Assistance Program (800)222-2222) And put them on stakes for bandits signs and telephone poles. This has worked worked pretty good for me. The first time I began to put signs out I had calls before I
could get them all out and return home.
