Enthusiasm Levels!

Enthusiasm Levels!

I am so excited! I'm only about 1/2 way through "Profit From Real Estate Now," and I'm bursting with enthusiasm! You see, I am a realtor (AmarilloHome.net) with one of the worlds top real estate companies and a part time customer service agent with one of the nation's top utility companies. Every day, all I hear from landlords, realtors, mortgage/foreclousure offices, people that have been evicted, people that have been foreclosed on, etc. is doom and gloom! I'm sure it's God in me, too, but where all others can see is doom and gloom...I see enormous opportunity to help others and help myself and my family.

Amarillo, Texas is a small city of about 200,000 people that is pretty much isolated from the rest of the country's woes. We have the best economy in Texas, and the third strongest real estate market in the country, but there are still over 200 foreclosures, pre-foreclousures or bank owned properties available for purchase here, and many have been built in the last 10 years during a boom here.

Other realtors who have been in the business for decades keep telling me, "Don't buy anything (information, sytems, whatever). They don't work. Do things proven, old fashioned way," and the like. The negative talk really gets to me some time, but then...I just pick up one of Dean's books, and the light penetrates the doom and gloom.

So, everybody, what is your enthusiasm level?

I'm very excited!

I'm very excited about the teleseminar coming up on Tuesday evening. I'm excited about having this window of opportunity to make money. I've invited a friend to this site and told him to get Dean's books as he and his wife are interested in jumping into RE investing in this down market. I struggle with staying positive and not letting negativity get me down. It's a day to day issue, but I've found that you need to tune out the naysayers. Desparation to make one's life better is a true motivation to be a successful investor. Smiling

Re: I'm very excited!

I'm glad you're trying to "Tune out the naysayers," Princess! Unfortunately and too often, the people that we care about the most and the ones that are closest to us are those very people. We just have to love them in spite of themselves.

A few years ago, the Lord promised me in a vision that if "You [I] put him first in my life, he would prosper me." I had no idea what he meant, and I'm still learning the meaning of that brief but powerful promise, but I do know for certain that it was also promised to many biblical characters (even entire nations), and it applies to you, too. Forget the naysaying...go with what God says. There should be no doubt about it; he knows best.

God bless you,
