Feels good to take action. Loved the phone script for calling Realtors. Was a little nervous at first, but new I had to do it. Felt good after talking with 6 realtors. I'll be calling more, because I want to have a great team.

Realtor is Upset with me

DG Family,

Finished Homework for page 1. One of the realtors that agreed to send me a list of cash buyers sent me an email saying I was disrespectful for asking such a task. Here is what she had to say. Wow. I actually think it is funny.

"Claude, Hope all is well for you today! You called my office to inquire about wanting to be an
investor and make approximately 20k per flip. I complied and sent you some homes based
on the amount of money you said you had to get started. You also wanted the list of homes
that had sold in the last 90 days for cash. Your response was inappropiate. I help people
to achieve their dreams and help them build their wealth. I would expect to receive some
amount of respect from someone that wants me to work with them. Until I sign a contract
with you or have some proof of your financial ability to perform a cash purchase I am not
about to spend time & resources providing you with data. I looked the information up, but
I made the decision not to send that much data. I did not want to confuse the situation.
The sales are public information at each municipality you can check there for free. If you
are really serious you could invest in yourself, get a license, pass the tests, train, pay
all the mountain of fees,pay for changing technology,and continuing education mandated
by state law. Not to mention the expenses of an automobile & insurances for liability & auto.
Everything you touch in Real Estate costs you money! All that effort just to be disrespected
by a caller who wants service for free. In Michigan we have buyer brokerage where you
sign a contract to work with one agent. The listing agents represent the sellers. If you are
a Realtor and you buy a listed property in most cases sellers exclude a agent who is a
buyer fron collecting a commission. THERE IS MORE! But I will spare you."
