Success Academy, worth it?

Steve, this is a great question. I would also like to know the answer and opinion of individuals who completed the training.

I went through the SA, and here's my humble advice...

If YOU're prepared to go out and take action, build your buyers list, find deals, and CALL the coaches to ask questions on your deals, etc. you will benefit from having many experienced coaches just a call away; however, they will not hold your hand, build your buyers list, nor find the deals for you. You can call them as many times a day as you like, with any questions you may have, as long as they are specific questions. The coaches are knowledgeable, and very friendly.
There's also live phone seminars they have every week with different topics that you can sign up for as many times as you'd like to, that I found very informative.
The lessons are good, but there's nothing new that you haven't read in DG's books. They have action items at the end of each chapter, which include things like build your buyers list, put up bandit signs, build your power team, get you LLC, evaluate properties, etc. etc.

I am a total believer in Dean's books and the Success Academy. I still have a notebook full of the on line classes that I downloaded and kept. If you do the action steps after each lesson there is no way to fail. That is the key right there. If you do only 50% of the action steps, that will be the result you get, 1/2 a&%$&ed.

You must also have the intelligence to modify the teachings to work in your market place. What works in Vegas does NOT work the same in L.A. Dean teaches to take what they teach and "tweek" it to work where you are investing.

We took a leap of faith and signed up for the Academy. 12 months of training. I have to say for me, there is NO WAY to learn this business at any 3 day workshop in my opinion! Can a pilot fly, a doctor practice, a Burger King employee do their job after 3 days of training?? Did the 5 deals and got a FULL refund, so my training was free!!! Dean and PMI are the real deal!!

You have to do this yourself. If you are NOT a MASSIVE action taker with excellent entrepreneurial skills I would not waste the time or money. Unless of course this will just be a hobby for you and not a full time REAL business.
The Academy will give you an excellent FOUNDATION for building a business. Will you be in the 98% group or will you make this a successful business? That is TOTALLY up to you. With the Academy you will have the tools you need to get started.
