I guess I should know this, but I tried looking for nod on my county website, and it doesn't seem to be available. So my other options would be the courthouse (in person) and how about my paper? Is that like everyday in the paper, or Sunday only? Is there anywhere else to look?

I live in Arkansas, and would like to look at www.arcountydata.com but can't seem to do so. Maybe I have to have a paid version??? Not sure. Help anyone? Tammy

I tried

I have two suggestions.
Go to or call the courthouse in your area and ask i9f there is a way to research that online and have them show you.

The other suggestion is keep asking on this site. There must be someone here who is experienced doing this type of work right where you are.

Oh, #3 call the papers in the area and ask them.

Good luck.

Thank you both

I have tried to call, but not getting through. I will keep trying. Thomas thank you for letting me know there is less competition. I am off!

title companies

I have my title company send me the NOD lists. I receive them every morning. I can specify which counties I want to know and they send them to me. I imagine they do this so I will close more properties with them. And It has worked.

Try your title company.

Hey Tammy,
here in Kentucky that kind of stuff is not on line. Just yesterday I went to the County Clerk's office in Lexington and looked through the books, five of them, 750 pages each and that is only for one month. I came up with about fifty some odd. Yes that is a lot more work than just clicking a mouse but guess what, there is less competition.
The letter I'm going to send those people is based on a conversation between Dean and Greg Murphy, that I found on the 2009 Edge DVDs. My follow up letter uses an idea I've got from Joe Polish.
As you can see I'm learning from the best, now all I've got to do is to perform like the best.
Good luck with the books!
Thomas
