Its all really clicking to me and revealing new questions at the same time. I just wish I could afford the Academy or a Mentor, I know it would make a huge difference but just can't right now. I'll plan on using the proceeds from our first deal, yeah its that important!

It's the Profit From Real Estate Right Now workshop. They've been having them around the country. There was one up in San Francisco prior to LA.

And congratulations on taking that first big step toward your new life. It's really great that you have each other so that you can work together on your goals. Read Indiana Joe's journal (he's terrific, as busy as he is he manages to post each day - a discipline I've yet to accomplish). He and his wife Stacey are in this together and offer plenty of inspiration not only for other couples such as yourselves, but also for us going alone types out here. Though we're not really alone as we always have our DG family.
If you are interested in going to real estate investment club meetings (and you should be), let me know. I've made so many great contacts at these meetings. There is one coming up next week (they meet the second Tuesday of every month). It's hosted by REIC of LA and will be at the Radisson Hotel, 6161 W. Centinela Ave., Culver City, CA 90230. Just know that this group charges $29 a head to attend and I'm guessing money might be a bit tight just now since you're taking the workshop.
However, the LAREIC will be meeting the last Wednesday of the month at the Beverly Hills Country Club, 3084 Motor Ave., West LA. For the time being, these meetings are free. Start time for both is 6:30 to check in and register and meetings start at 7:30. If you come, make sure to bring plenty of business cards and get them into as many hands as possible.

Stay plug in and listend well and take a lots of notes. But most important build your buyers list. Once you have that, develop a system that will work for you out of all the strategies Dean gives us. Compare your opportunities to your capabilities. As your capabilities increases so will your opportunities.
