I grew up in Alaska, moved to Texas in 2007 after working and living in Kazakhstan and Scotland for approximately 10 years. I am currently employed in the oil & gas industry overseas in Russia and work a 4 weeks on x 4 weeks off rotation, meaning I only work half the year. However, the half year that I do work I am on the other side of the planet. Hence the reason for looking into Real Estate Investing. In approximately 3 years I want to displace working at my current occupation with property investing in the Houston area. This will allow me to spend irreplaceable time with my family and doing the things I enjoy.
