I have always had a passion for real estate. Years back, my ex-husband and I owned rental property but eventually sold due to his long work hours. I never lost interest however, always reading whatever I could get my hands on! I will have to admit to watching Carlton Sheets on television and getting all psyched up by people sitting by their pools with the palm trees swaying in the background stating how they quit their jobs because of real estate! Now recently divorced, I still have that passion and zest to pursue and become successful in real estate. I purchased the home I live in now in 5/2007 and also one single home rental unit in 3/2008. Unfortunately, updating of that investment property took longer than expected and am now ready to look for my next deal. My goal is to be able to use one or more of these no money down techniques in order to obtain multi-unit properties and would love to connect with other fellow Nebraskans or even Iowa staters! As Dean states in his book, Totally Fulfilled, if you are hanging with people dragging you down, you need to free yourself and move towards the positive influences in your life!
