Thank you Karen. I will take your advice. I'm looking to start out in lease options, so I'm going to try and get as much info about that as possible.
I recognize you from the LLC thread, I was reading that because I actually started up the LLC first so that I go into this business with some protection right off the bat. I'm hoping to maintain it for 2 years so that I can build up the LLC for credit purposes.

I could use some good advice since I'm a newbie to the LLC thing. I have some credit issues (personally), I purposely made the LLC without my name in it because I didn't want the creditors to come a running. Plus I want to settle with them when I make some money but I do not want them to know that I have a LLC.
How do I protect my LLC from being in the public eye? In other words...How do I keep people from looking up my name at the courthouse and finding that LLC under my name?
Also I want use DBA's as I'm interest in starting up other businesses in different fields. Do I have to list it as LLC dba blah blah investors or can I just sign forms with a DBA name without listing the LLC?
