OfflineI am 51 years old, (almost 52), married (wife still lives in GA) and work as a federal contractor (US Army Reserves) for General Dynamics Information Technology (6 yrs). Have always been interested in Real Estate Investing and attended a few tax sales and REO auctions (almost had the winning bid on one nice property).
My wife and I would like to not have to depend on weekly paychecks in order to survive. We would like to give this opportunity a real try because we have tried other money making projects before but they were nothing like what DG has. Some were scams and some just didn't payoff for the effort put in.
I bought Dean's "Think A Little Different" audio series a few years ago. I listened to it and that is what really got me interested in REI. I didn't do much with it and pretty much forgot about it except for attending some of Dean's conference calls.
I got the email announcing RBBP webinar and unfortunately my internet connection were I am staying is not very good and just couldn't watch the series. I wrote to DG Support (great bunch of people) and asked them how I download the videos and watch offline. They gave me the link and I watched the videos about a week later not realizing that the RBBP program had been shutoff. I later found out what it would cost to become a member of the RBBP and it was to much for my budget plus I don't make decisions like that without involving my wife (I need to mention here that my wife is interested in Real Esate and is also very excited and has signed up on the DG site and has started to learn). I have now bought 3 of dean's book (only finished reading "Profits From Real Estate Right Now") and have began learning how this REI works.
I am very excited on getting started but I am just one of those people that need to have a roadmap and a good kick in pants to get out make it work.
I have enjoyed all the information that is on this site and look forward to more information.
