Getting Started

I received Dean's book today, "Profit from Real Estate Right Now" I read the first 2 chapters already and I had to jump on the internet to look at possible areas to find properites. I will try staying local until I know what I'm actually doing, a lot of information to take in. Any words of advise would be greatly appreciated. Wish me luck!
